Evolvement of AGC Amplifier Optimized with the Genetic Algorithms after Being Taped Out

The core module of genetic algorithms suitable for evolvement analog IC is designed,using SMIC 0.18 μm CMOS mixed technology,an evolvement AGC amplifier(Automatic Gain Control Amplifier) is designed which can be optimized using the core module of Genetic Algorithms or recover from failure.The simulation results show that performance of AGC amplifier conforms to excellent features expected to adapt itself to variable environment,it has 30 MHz operation frequency,40～70 dB gain adjustment range,-65 dBm 1 dB compression point,-56 dBm IP3.
