Transformer fault diagnosis based on BP neural network and its application

Aiming at the characteristic of transformer fault and the limitation of traditional fault diagnosis methods of transformer,the paper developed a BP neural network based algorithm to diagnosis fault of transformer.The neural networks are trained with historical fault exemplar.Application on field data proves the validity of the proposed approach.
