The monitoring technology including monitoring items, monitoring points design and monitoring methods of No.3 and No.4 dock large span double-row steel piles cofferdam project which was a part of the first phase project of China Shipbuilding Changxing shipbuilding base were studied in the paper.The stability of the double-dock large span double-row steel piles cofferdam was monitored in the project for the first time.The monitoring contents of the project were more comprehensive than other similar hydraulic engineering at home and abroad.
