Simulator is a fast effective approach for the high performance computer architecture research. Parallel computer architecture simulator SandFox is developed for researching the dynamic self-organized architecture based on grid component (DSAG), with modularization and hierarchy developing ideas to simulate full system of the DSAG architecture through four levels. This simulator presents the features of DSAG architecture such as resource allocation on demand, resource component management, and reconfiguration of resource components, and users can configure the target system dynamically by interactive input interface. Experiments show accuracy, extensibility and dynamic ability of the simulator.
