Comparative Teaching of Time Shifting Properties in Signal Processing Courses

There exist results in singal processing courses which can be used for comparative teaching. In this paper, the time shifting properties are taken as one example for illustration, including forward and backward shifting properties of one-side and two-side transforms. The forward shifiting properties of four types of signal transformats are derived, and the comparative teaching based on derived results is discussed in details.
