The application of artificial neural networks in damage identification

The artificial neural networks to identify and locate the crack damage is presented in this paper.A cantileveris analysed by finite element method.Then Elman is used to analyse the single damage and multiple damages quantification and its location.Numerical simulation results show that this method has certain guiding sense to damage identification in concrete projects.
