Adaptive Bit-Interleaving HARQ Scheme in MIMO-OFDM Systems

An adaptive bit interleaving scheme for hybrid automatic repeat request(HARQ) was proposed in multi-input multi-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(MIMO-OFDM) system.It fully utilizes the channel state information to interleave the bits at each transmission.So the frequency diversity can be obtained and bit reliabilities will be averaged to improve the decoding efficiency.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme effectively reduces the block error rate when type III HARQ(including Chase Combining and Incremental Redundancy) is applied.
