Combined suppression of speckle of SAR images based on structural information and adaptive windowing

In order to choose sliding window correctly in de-speckling algorithm,a combined suppression of speckle is proposed.Adaptive windowing is considered for local region,and edge is detected by ratio masks for each window determined.Complete structural information is obtained by adaptive growing of structural features.De-speckling experiments on simulated and real synthetic aperture radar(SAR) image show that the combined algorithm has a higher capability of noise reduction and fine detail preserving.
