The Design and Implementation of a Secure Email System in the Secure LAN environment

A design and implementation scheme was devised for deploying a secure E-mail system in the secure LAN.The scheme a- chieved multi-level security control by grading management of mail users and mails themselves.Also,the scheme achieved central- ized and dynamic monitoring of system users by adding mail proxy between mail server and mail clients with designing communication protocols between clients and proxy.System implementation tests show that this scheme has solved wire tapping,intercepting,rewri- ting,divulging and other mail secure problems with guaranteeing E-mail service simultaneously in the secure LAN environment.
