Spam-filtering Techniques

Electronic mail(e-mail)is becoming one of the fastest and most economical communication ways.At the same time,the growing problem of junk mail has promoted a need for e-mail filtering.Nowadays,anti-spam measures generally include black or white list technology,manual rules and keyword based content filtering.In this paper,the three spam filtering techniques are presented,such as the technologies based on security authentication,based on rule matching and based on statistics learning.Finally the challenge and trend of spam filtering techniques is analyzed.
