Applied Research of Applications Monitoring Management System in Provincial Power Company

With the rapid development of informatization construction of State Grid, the operation and maintenance of information systems is becoming more and more important. To ensure safe and stable operations of information systems, Hunan Electric Power Company of State Grid studies and applied an applications monitoring management system, called APM developed by AdventNet of United State of American. The APM can comprehensively and realtime online monitor many kinds of information systems, which greatly improve the level of information system operation and management. This paper introduces briefl y the technical characteristics of the APM and describes system functions and the implementation process. At last, this paper analyzes and summarizes achievements and benefi ts got after application of the APM.
