Locking Scheme for MMDB

The efficiency of a lock scheme is one of the important aspects of implementation of main memory database system.For this reason, a wide range of approaches for achieving efficient locking has been taken in MMDB research. In this paper,an overview of three approaches is presented. These approaches achieve their goals in the best possible way according to their different application background.
