Analysis of mistakes in English abstracts of periodicals

Abstract translation,with its unique stylistic features,belongs to applied translation.Starting from the stylistic features of abstracts and the requirements for translating Chinese abstracts into English,the paper emphatically analyzed common mistakes of English abstracts in some periodicals,followed by presenting the tactics to handle them.
