A Study of Two Adaptive Method on Unstructured Delaunay Triangulations

Two adaptive methods are implemented on unstructured Delaunay triangulations.One typical problems of discontinuous solutions of 2D shallow water,the 2D dam break problem is solved by the two methods respectively.The numerical results and the stabilities of the two methods are compared.The numerical results show that two adaptation methods allow the gradual improvement of the quality of the solution and adjustment of the geometry of the problem.
