Application of turbo code in 3G

The turbo code proposed by C.Berrou on ICC'93 combines convolutional code with random interleaver to realize random encoding and approach MLD performance through iterative decoding. The application of Turbo code in 3G, and the performance of Turbo code in particular,were analysed with simulation results.
