The Study of the System for Performance Analyzing Parallel Program

The use of parallelism in a program presents many new opportunities for performance degradation, such as load imbalance, communication overhead, and synchronization wait. It is significant to analyze the performance of parallel programe. In[1][2][3],some discussion have been done to the performance of parallel program, but there are no overall assessments of parallel performance. The authors′work is based on the study of executing states of parallel program, and developes a tool for performance analysis, which not only captures the exact data when the program is running but also describes the performance results as well as the reasons of performance degradation with straightforward graphics.
