Design of Field-bus Time Synchronization for Numerical Control System

Based on the analysis of NC system's communication net architecture and characteristics,a new time synchronization protocol was proposed.Using this protocol,mechanism of time synchronization was designed,which included communication model,communication timing,method of master schedule and slave real-time data exchange.The mechanism was successfully used into field-bus of NC system.The experimental results show its good synchronous precision.So it can meet the requirements of NC system's applications.
