Research on Nodes Positioning Optimization Model for UWB-based Wireless Sensor Networks

Ding Hu · Journal of Langfang Teachers College · 2009

This paper introduces a novel method which used to address nodes positioning issues of UWB-based wireless sensor networks.Using distance measurement function of UWB,the proposed method get the all distances between one-hop nodes firstly;then based on the information of one-hop nodes, construct the optimization model;at last,we can physical topology of networks through resolving the optimization model and getting coordinates of each node belong to networks. The method makes it possible to implement some basic networks functions effectively, such as routing, networks management. And it is especially desirable for sensor networks and Ad Hoc networks that consist of nodes with less movement.
