The Constitution of Intrusion Detection Systems Based on Snort

Snort, which is a mighty and venial network intrusion detection system, can make analysis on real time data flow and journal IP package, can make protocol analysis, and can make searching and matching of the contents. Snort is able to detect different kinds of attacks and give real time warning messages for the attacks. This paper introduces a solving scheme for constructing an intrusion detection system by using Snort, PostgreSQL database, Apache, PHP, ACID and Razorback.
