Yesterday,Today and Tomorrow——Reflection on the System for Remoulding the Criminal Mindset

Remoulding the criminal mindset is a reform system for criminals with Chinese characteristics,which has become a great success.However,under the new situation,particularly under the impact of Behavior Correction Theory,the system for remoulding the criminal mindset is faced with many difficulties,such as the conflicts between its validity and necessity,the separation of the means of remoulding from the reality,and the gap between the goal and effect of the remoulding.In this paper it is argued that the system for remoulding the criminal mindset should be in limited use and that the means of remoulding should be improved.
