The article gives a brief introduction on the RFID basic principles and characteristics,as well as the powerful advantage of RFID and GIS technology integration for the management of municipal resources in the pipeline.And it details the realization of technology of the key hardware systems for portable data acquisition(RFID + PDA),and the core system software structure,function and structure of the overall system.Finally,the article presents the project implementation process of the system from practical application.
