Phophate-free automatic dish-washing detergents

This paper discussed a phosphate substitute in the automatic dish detergents(ADDs),the phosphate dilemma and the performance of phosphate-free automatic dish detergents.Meanwhile,it evaluated the cleaning and rinsing performance of the multifunctional phosphate-free products against a multifunctional phosphate-based product by a digital image analysis tool(DIAT).It showed that the multifunctional phosphate-free product containing Dehypon GRA delivered the same rinse performance as multifunctional phosphate-based commercial product and,in some cases,as is the case for product A,outdoes it.It turned out that Dehypon GRA is an effective ingredient that enables the formulation of multifunctional ADDs phosphate-free product offering a first-rate result for spotless shiny tableware.
