UML Modeling for Network Fault Management System Based on Multi-Mobile Agents

Network Fault Management based on mobile agent can have an efficient,real-time and accurate fault management on the managed network based on the characteristics of mobility,intelligence,flexibility and strong extended ability of mobile agent and through local and wide fault monitoring,detection and resolution.Moreover,its platform independence can easily realize multi-platform network management and have a great advantage in managing complex networks.This paper applied UML to design a Network Fault Management System based on multi-mobile agents cooperation,which describes the static and dynamic structure of the system clearly and overcomes many disadvantages of traditional centralized network fault management.
