Relief Surface Modeling Research Based on Image

A simple algorithm is proposed to get the 3D relief surface by using the 2D image gray-values difference.This algorithm includes mainly two points.First,the image gray-values is converted into the image depth.Second,based on the image depth field,the backward search is performed in order to provide the surface model for the further processing.As a result,the relief surface is obtained.The result of experimentations concludes that the algorithm is feasible.
