Network picture storage must invoke picture database from remote-server through network,and the pictures themselves take a great deal of space,so the network picture storage transmission speed is slow,especially when multitudinous users share the same bandwidth.But,under the same circumstances of net speed,how to make the transmission speed faster is a problem which easily be neglected.From the experience of designing the picture storage with SQL Server,and developing picture storage management system with Delphi7,the author discussed how to make the transmission speed faster through technology designing network picture storage.
