Improved Layered Space-Frequency Scheme for MIMO-CDMA Systems

Multiple input multiple output(MIMO) architecture is one of the most promising techniques to improve the quality and capacity of future wireless communication systems.However,traditional layered receive detection for MIMO systems needs much time in performing inversing and sorting.Aiming in solving this problem,an improved layered soace-frequency scheme based on inversing and sorting only once for the broadband MIMO-CDMA systems is proposed.The proposed scheme opens the way of detecting multi-antenna signals in the frequency domain.Simulation results show that the proposed layered space-frequency scheme can obtain better tradeoff between performance and complexity than conventional ones.
