Intelligent Baseband Platform

This paper introduces an intelligent baseband platform based on the concept of software-defined radio. FPGA and DSP chips are used to construct a universal, expansible, scalable, flexible and multifunctional baseband-processing platform. This platform can perform multi-mode and multi-speed operation after dynamic configuration. The design block diagrams and results of the major component selection are also presented, together with several typical application modes, which getting ideal effect on practice project.
