Congestion Mitigation Algorithm Based on Hotspot-Cluster for Ad Hoc Networks

Due to the mobilitys and uneven density of nodes of ad hoc networks,parts of nodes may congest as the busy transport.The most current routing algorithms are lacking of respond control for congestion.This paper defines hotspot-cluster and provides a congestion mitigation algorithm based on hotspot-cluster for Ad hoc networks(CMHA).The algorithm judges congested nodes by the cluster through the nodes' MAC delay or buffer occupancy and quickly searchs an efficient way to avoid the congested node to decrease load of congested node.The routing method which is based on hotspot-cluster can satisfy the requirement of multi-level better,impress the end-to-end packet delivery ratio and assure the Qos.
