The Planting Performance,Quality and Economic Value of the Several Varieties of Flue-cured Tobacco in Yuexi County

In order to facilitate and promote scientific cultivation and management of tobacco in Yuexi County of Liangshan Prefecture,to achieve local farmers' income,taking local large-scale cultivation of Yunyan 85 as the comparison,and taking the red flowers large Jinyuan,Yunyan 87,Yunyan 97 and K326 as the testing varieties,the authors comparatively compare and analyze their bearing periods,disease resistance,botanical characteristics,agronomic traits,chemical composition,sensory smoking,the yield and output.The results show that under the same cultivation and management for the three experimental sites,so far,the most satisfactory overall performance isYunyan 85,followed by the red flowers large Jinyuan,while the K326 is the lowest.However,taking into account the enterprise purchase policy,the authors propose the local farmers mainly grow Yunyan 85 and the red flowers large Jinyuan,along with some Yunyan 87 and Yunyan 97,which can get more economic returns.
