Drilling Fault Diagnosis Based on Data Fusion Technology

A three layer structure drilling fault diagnosis system based on data fusion technology was presented.BP artificial neural network on the character layer were used to recognize the feature of ordinary drilling fault.The multi-level decision was obtained by using Dempster-Shafer evidence theory.The data processing results showed that the multi-parameter fusion algorithm based on data fusion could recognize the different drilling condition very well and implement the state monitoring and fault diagnosis.
