A New Way of Parts Shape Recognition Based on Harris Corner Detection

In this paper, a new way of parts shape recognition based on Harris corner detection is advanced. With image acquisition, gray -scale conversion, filtering deposing, corner extraction, shape matching several steps followed to achieve the static parts shape recognition. The method was verified that it is real-time, accuracy, the characteristics of the economy by the test results of theoretical and experimental verification through the intelligent robot- SCARA experiment.
