A Simple Resource Reservation Protocol and Its Application in Multicast Communication

RSVP is very complex to implement,especially at the initial stage . There is a real need of a more simple and easier resource reservation mechanism to overcome the complexity of RSVP. This paper discusses and analyzes a simple resource reservation protocol based on RSVP. Obviously, SRSVP can be easily adapted to multicast communication,so in the end of the paper it is applied to multicast communication.
