Using J2EE JavaMail Technology to Develop a Web Mail Application

This paper aims to introduce a process of developing Web mail application using J2EE JavaMail technology. It discusses some elementary protocols(SMTP?POP3?IMAP) relative to E mail, and some programming techniques, such as the methods of implementing JavaMail technology and querying XML files as well as a solution of code transformation during sending and receiving Chinese mails. In the meantime, a model of the Web Mail application is given.
