Application of wavelet analysis in winding inter-turn short circuit fault diagnosis of generator rotor

By analyzing the characteristics of the air gap EMF signal during the inter-turn short circuit of generator rotor winding,the wavelet-based fault diagnosis method is proposed and its effectiveness is verified.It provides a theoretical basis for early detection of the rotor field winding fault.
