Discussion on the contents and the characteristics of macroscopic library science

This article discusses the contentd and the characteristics of the macroscopic library science from six aspects for the present research status of the macroscopic library science,combining with the new characteristics of the network time at present.The new social function viewpoints of the library science are formed in the economic society,with the change of the research object and method of the macroscopic library science,and by the analysis of the modern social conditions and the economic effect of the library.
