Analysis of the UDP Flow's Effect on TCP Flow Based on Complex Topologies

With the development of Internet,UDP flow is increasing rapidly.The traditional congestion control can' t handle UDP flow well.First of all,this paper makes a simulation on the unfairness in bandwidth sharing between UDP flow without congestion control and TCP flow based on bottleneck network and classical RED algorithm.Then it makes a simulation on the stability of AQM based on complex topologies.It gets the causes of this unfairness by analyzing the end-to-end flow control mechanism of TCP.At the end,it draws the conclusion and the prospect of solutions to this problem.
