Application of the Wavelet Transform to the Failure Diagnosis of Tilting Trains

The probable failure of tilting mechanism control system is analyzed. Failures on actuator and sensor of tilting control system are detected by checking whether there is a sudden change on the singularities in the wavelet transform of signal under the condition of multidimensional comprehensive behaviors, and the simulation of the gyroscope failure result shows that the detecting method proposed in this paper is fairly effective.
