The operation and management of large project for water resources allocation are relatively complicated as the long water conveyance distance with many operation and management links concerned.Establishment of the informationized management system,with the modern techniques such as automation,communication,monitoring and advanced hydrological measurement,can make the real-time monitoring for the related decision makers to know the whole water regime and the trends of water flows at the water sources,regulation ponds,water distribution stations etc.,so as to optimize the management of the water supply and check the relevant facilities necessary to be repaired in time.Taking the water conveyance project of Dahuofang Reservoir as a case,the design of the comprehensive applicable plan for the real-time monitoring,control,communication and office system within a informationized management system for large water delivery project is described herein.
