The Implementation of Extracting Geometric Information in CAPP System of Punching Parts

Based on the particular analysis of DXF file format in AutoCAD,fully taking advantage of the compact expression of polylines,and combining the characteristic of punching parts, a method and program frames used for extracting geometric information of punching parts were proposed,and the method of creating geometric information database was elaborated. Geometric information database and the program of automatic extracting geometric information were implemented by Delphi6.0.
