Research on Windows Real-time Extension Technology

Aiming at the problem that Windows can not be used in real-time fields directly because of its real-time faults,Windows real-time extension technology is studied.Common methods of Windows real-time extension are analyzed and compared,and the advantages and disadvantages of each method are summarized.Real Time eXpert(RTX) system and INtime,two typical products of Windows real-time extension,are compared from various angles,such as architecture,system basic mechanism,reliability,difficulty of developing real-time applications and system performance.They are bad at flexibility,reliability,and portability.A method of Windows real-time extension based on Adaptive Domain Environment for Operating System(ADEOS) is proposed.
