Survey on image encryption based on chaos

To further discuss and improve some problems in the process of achieving some rapid development in the field of image encryption based on chaotic system.Firstly,the development of the problems in the field is presented briefly,then,the two major design mainstream of the image scrambling based on chaos are summed up,the method how to produce permutation matrix using chaotic map is discussed mainly about the basic theory and the popular scheme.Weakness of the traditional scrambling image encryption is analyzed.Finally,normal methods of encryption algorithms based on chaos are provided,the evaluation criterion about substitution and permutation,and some new views are proposed.At the end,the direction of development of the area are discussed.
