The Development of the Management Information System for Carrying Process of Sale Automobile

The MIS for carrying process of commodity automobile is the subsystem of the MIS for marketing of Chang'an automobile, it is used in transport capacity plan and exchange management between manufacture and transport unit. The architecture of Client/Sever is applied in the system, under support of the oracle database and Chang'an intranet, the front-end system is developed with power builder. The system model consists of five parts: data servicing, automobile transportation, exchange management, inquiring and reporting forms. As a result of the using the technology of the vehicle international standard number (VIN) and algorithm of automatic dispatching priority in accordance with main motorcade, inside motorcade, hail-fellow motorcade and private motorcade, the rational dispatching of time in the carrying process and automatic calculating of transportation price are realized.
