Application of XML in Saving and Accessing Diagram Configuration Simulation Data of Control System

The diagram configuration data of the traditional diagram configuration simulation software are mostly stored in the form of stream document or database,and the program strongly relies on data structure,so it is difficult to upgrade,maintain and reuse the software.In this paper the information of diagram configuration is described by XML technology and thus XML document becomes the agency of function configuration block and diagram configuration software to overcome the disadvantages of stream document.First,two definition means of diagram configuration topology structure based on control system are introduced.Second,a diagram data structure adapted to control system simulation software.is found out by analysis and comparison.Finally,an example is given to explain the application of XML technology in the diagram configuration data storage.
