CORBA Application in TMN Performance Management

Along with the development of the telecommunication market,network elements of TMN,management information for telecommunication business,and management entities which implement TMN functionalities tend to be distributed logically and physically,and evolve dynamically.More and more limitations appear in management applications based on traditional TMN standards.To solve these problems,a solution that applies CORBA technologies in TMN is raised.As one of application modules in TMN,performance management also can be combined with CORBA perfectly.In this paper,discuss the application of CORBA in the performance management deeply,build a model based on the discussion,and implement it simply.
