VOIP and data compaction technologies were introduced briefly.It was expounded how to use Visual C++ and Windows SDK tools to develop an application to enable several people to communicate through network.On the base of analyzing management of joining,leaving and status reporting,and transmission problems such as out-of-order,delay and disconnection,it emphatically explains the design and implementation of conference management,data transmission,recording and playback.Finally,the application which enable the personal computers to communicate through internet by voice was realized.
