Development of Teaching Experimental Device for Pneumatic Separation of e-waste

Huang Ju-we · Research and Exploration in Laboratory · 2014

By combining the features of the e-waste composition and application of fluidization technology, the State Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Environmental Science Engineering of Tongji University has successfully developed an e-waste air-classifier for the undergraduate teaching experiment. It can effectively separate the metal and non-metal e-waste by the pneumatic system. Specifically, the device has the advantages of small size, modular design, easy operation, minimum environmental impact, etc. Moreover, this experimental teaching equipment can largely enrich the undergraduate experimental teaching, especially the solid waste, and also provide reference for experimental teaching in the area of Environmental Science and Engineering.
