A Connected Domain Labeling Algorithm Based On Equivalence Pair In Binary Image

On the basis of studying existing connected domain labeling methods,this paper proposes a connected domain labeling algorithm based on equivalence pair.The algorithm labels every foreground pixel of gray scale image and binary image and saves equivalence table by one time scanning,it replaces equivalence pair of labeled pixels when satisfies the requirement of equivalence pair replacing condition,and the algorithm resolves the problem of repeat labels,at last obtains the partition of connected domain for binary image.The connected domain labeling algorithm in this paper can be effectively applied in moving object detection.
