Study on De-noising of Motor Control System Based on Wavelet Shrinkage

Zhijie Wang · Coal Mine Machinery · 2005

The wavelet transform is used to reduce the high frequency noise of motor control system signal. This transform decomposes the signal, thus separating the high frequencies due to noise effects. After the decomposition, the wavelet shrinkage is performed by thresholding to eliminate the high frequency component. Then the signal can be reconstructed without the high frequency component. We performed a comparative de-noising study respectively using the daubechies wavelet and symmlets wavelet shrinkage technique. From the test one can verify again that the best results were obtained using SYM12 with ST.
