Method of Time Delay Estimation Based on Frequency Compensation

Because of the difference of gain and phase between two measuring station,the signal to Time Delay Estimation(TDE)has frequency difference,consequently,the precision of TDE and orientation are influenced.The theory is presented that the frequency difference is how to influence the General Cross Correlation(GCC).Then,the cross correlation in frequency is adopted to estimate and compensate the frequency difference.After the frequency difference is compensated,the method of TDE is presented.Computer simulation is done with four kinds of communication signal to validate that the presented method is right and effective.
