Application of Parallel Computers in Seismic Data Processing in Miyang Depression

Based on the behavior and characteristics of parallel computers, application of the computers in seismic data processing in Miyang Depression is discussed in combination of the actual demands of petroleum exploration and seismic data processing. The results of application shows that the parallel computers could greatly shorten the period of seismic data processing, at the same time it could improve the processing quality and efficiency of the data processing.
